PicklePairings runs pickleball round robins, Americanos, Swiss events and knockout / double-elimination brackets. It is free, it needs no account, and it keeps your tournament on your own device.
.json file —
that lets us reproduce your exact tournament.
No. There is no sign-up, no login and no password. Open the app and start a tournament.
Yes — that is the point. Gym and club Wi-Fi is unreliable, so the app stores everything on the device and keeps working with no connection at all. You can open it, pair rounds and enter scores fully offline.
It is saved on the device itself, automatically, after every change — the header shows a Saved time stamp. Closing the app or locking the phone will not lose it.
Because it lives on the device rather than on a server, deleting the
app also deletes the tournament. Before a big event, tap
Export to save a .json backup somewhere
safe.
Tap Export on the first device to get a
.json file, send it to yourself, then tap
Import on the second device and pick that file. Scores,
teams and rounds all come across.
Just type over it — standings recalculate immediately. To undo a bigger mistake, use the Undo button in the header (or Ctrl/Cmd + Z on a keyboard).
Yes. Every round has a Print sheet button, and standings have their own Print button — handy for taping a round to the wall by the courts. Share sends the same thing as text to a group chat.
Open the teams or players list and tap Withdraw next to them. They are left out of any rounds generated after that. Rounds already on screen are not rewritten, so you may need to mark an unplayed match yourself.
Email support@picklepairings.com. Requests that come up repeatedly get built — this app exists because running a club round robin on a paper grid is miserable.
Your tournament is saved on your own device. It only reaches our server if you create a live standings link. Our anonymous usage analytics, and what our usability tool can see on screen, are described in full in the privacy policy.
