6-player pickleball rotation schedule
Updated 30 October 2026
A rotating-partner round robin for 6 players uses 1 court and this chart runs 5 rounds, 3 or 4 games each. Partners change every round. Each round 2 players sit out, and the sit-outs are spread so nobody sits twice before everyone has sat once. No partnership repeats.
| Round | Court 1 | Sitting out |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | 1&5 v 2&4 | 3, 6 |
| 2 | 4&3 v 6&2 | 1, 5 |
| 3 | 1&3 v 6&5 | 2, 4 |
| 4 | 4&6 v 5&2 | 1, 3 |
| 5 | 6&3 v 4&1 | 2, 5 |
How to score it
Every player keeps the points their side scored in each game. The player with the most points at the end wins, then most games won. A player who sits out gets that round's average score so sitting out never costs them. The Americano guide has the full rules.
Want different rounds?
Short on time? Stop after any round and the standings are still fair, since everyone has played the same number of games ± 1. In the app, choose Americano and set the number of rounds; it pairs each round as you go and handles late arrivals.
