Pickleball round robin generator
Updated 30 October 2026
Type the number of teams and get a full pickleball round robin schedule: every team plays every other team once, the games are spread across courts, and an odd number of teams gets one fair bye each round. Print it for the courts, or open it in the app, which also keeps the scores and sorts the standings.

How the schedule is built
It uses the circle method, the standard way to build a round robin. Team 1 stays put and everyone else rotates one place each round, which guarantees every pairing happens exactly once and nobody plays twice in a round. With an odd number of teams a "bye" slot joins the circle, so each team sits out exactly once.
| Teams | Rounds | Courts | About |
|---|---|---|---|
| 4 | 3 | 2 | 45 min |
| 6 | 5 | 3 | 75 min |
| 8 | 7 | 4 | 1 h 45 |
| 10 | 9 | 5 | 2 h 15 |
| 12 | 11 | 6 | 2 h 45 |
Times assume games to 11 at about 15 minutes a round. More than 10 teams and not that much time? A Swiss ranks a big field in 4 or 5 rounds.
Teams or individual players?
This page is for fixed doubles teams. If players arrive on their own and want a new partner every round, use the Americano (rotating partner) generator or the rotating charts for 4 to 16 players.
Running it on the day
- Number the teams and post the schedule where everyone can see it, or share a live link from the app so it updates on phones.
- Play the rounds in order. A round is over when its last game is.
- Rank by wins, then point difference, then points scored. The app does this as scores go in, and players can enter their own court's score from a link.

Questions
How does a round robin generator work?
It uses the circle method: one team stays fixed and the others rotate one place each round, so every pair of teams meets exactly once.
What happens with an odd number of teams?
A bye slot is added, so one team sits out each round and every team sits out exactly once.
How many courts do I need?
Half the number of teams, rounded down. With fewer courts, play each round in waves.
